What is OSM?

On-Site Acupressure Massage is based on ancient Chinese massage skills. It is akin to acupuncture but without the use of needles.

OSM consists of a sequence of highly structured moves called Kata. With the use of  finger or elbow movements, the practitioner stimulates Acupressure points along the body’s  meridians in the back, shoulders, arms, neck and head. There are 12 lines called meridian running along each side of the body and each pair corresponds to specific organs.
Not only does the  pressure applied on the meridians  improve the energy flow throughout the body, it also stimulates the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. This reduces tension, relieves stress, encourages relaxation of the muscles and re-energises the whole organism. It also strengthens the body’s resistance to disease and promotes general wellbeing.

On-Site Acupressure Massage has been specifically designed to be performed in the work place.  It enables the client to remain fully clothed during the massage which can take between 10 to 30 minutes. The client is seated in a specially designed ergonomic chair to ensure optimum relaxation throughout the session.

A session of On-Site Acupressure massage will leave the client, relaxed, re-energised and better able to cope with stress in the work place
